Additional Information: Whorled Mountain Mint differs from Slender Mountain Mint in several ways. While both attract pollinators, Whorled Mountain Mint has broader leaves arranged in distinctive whorls around the stem, giving it a fuller, bushier appearance. In contrast, Slender Mountain Mint has narrow, needle-like leaves that create a more delicate, airy look. The flowers of Whorled Mountain Mint are densely clustered at the tops of stems, compared to the more spaced-out flower arrangement of Slender Mountain Mint. Both thrive in similar conditions, but Whorled Mountain Mint can tolerate slightly wetter soils, making it a great choice for moist meadows and rain gardens, while Slender Mountain Mint excels in drier environments.
